Bunny Therapy Time!!!!
Angora Bunnies are amazing animals. They grow wool that you can sell, they look like adorable fur balls and they are one of the most sweetest breeds of rabbits in the rabbit family. However, they are so much more! I take my rabbits to special needs events for the kids to hold and brush. My first time going I was expecting there to be a little crowd of kids that might pet the rabbit for a minute and then go on to something else. I was completely mistaken! These kids filled up the stall all eager to hold a rabbit. Kids had to stand outside and wait for a turn. And after one group of kids left they would come back 30 minutes later wanting to hold a rabbit again! Parents were astonished at how well behaved the rabbits were. Also I had many tell me that they never saw their kid so interested in something before. Two parents said that their child had tactile issues and would not open their hands, however, as soon as they saw the rabbits they reached out and began stroking it with an open hand. One person said her child had Autism and would hardly speak, well, she ended up having a conversation with the rabbit, telling her how pretty she was! The result I had that day with the rabbits and kids was amazing! I will never forget it!
